Microverse course: Active Bystander Workshop
online via zoom
Have you ever been in a situation where you want to challenge someone’s behavior - but you didn’t know how to do it or what to say?
You are invited to attend workshop on how to be an Active Bystander - which aims to help staff across our community to challenge poor behaviors which may have become normalized over time. The session includes self-coaching techniques to help you keep a cool head when you’re faced with a challenging situation - and assertive language devices which you can use to make sure your voice is heard if you want to raise a concern.
The workshop will take place in lieu of the normal Microverse Seminar on the first Monday in June:
Date: Monday June 5th
Venue: Zoom - link upon registration
Time: 13:00 - 14:30
Registration is required: https://cloud.uni-jena.de/apps/forms/s/YtG74eCiQNB3GTyQpNaa7bfP
We hope that by working together we can create a safe and supportive working environment within our community and encourage everyone to attend. For more information on the training please see the link: www.activebystander.co.uk
