Project Management in Academia

Peter Wagner

Knowledge and methodological skills in project management are of fundamental importance in many fields, such as academia, industry and public administration. However, in many organisations, institutions and companies, there is a need for action when it comes to selecting and implementing suitable strategies.

The workshop offers a valuable opportunity to pool and expand knowledge and experience in both traditional and agile project management. In particular, key steps at the start of a project will be examined in detail. To deepen understanding, digital planning tools may be used as examples . Our aim is to re-evaluate current approaches to project planning and adapt them to the challenges of the future.
